Best Bike Rack For 26 Inch Ladies Beach Cruiser and 26 Inch Mountain Bike

Hi, I have a womans beach cruiser with 26inch wheel and a ladies mountain bike also 26.. what is the best bike rack to purchase? Thanks!

I recommend the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider part # HR1450Z-FB as long as the wheel base of your bikes is not longer than 60 inches. You can measure the wheel base of your bikes by measuring from the center of one wheel to the other wheel. The Hollywood Rack Sport Rider is versatile in it's design which allows you to carry the different bike frames without the use of an adapter. Compared to other racks that require the use of an adapter bar for women's bikes. Also if your beach cruiser has fat tires you can use the extra set of fat tire compatible wheel cradles that comes with the rack for your beach cruiser and the standard wheel hoops for the mountain bike. The Tilt-away feature allows you full or partial access to the rear cargo area of your vehicle depending on your vehicle's design.
If it turns out your wheel bases are longer than 60 inches I recommend the Swagman XC-Extended Platform style rack part # S64650-EXT which can accommodate bikes with 66 inch wheel bases because it comes with longer wheel cradles. However, the Swagman does not tilt away for rear cargo access and does not come with the locks like the Hollywood. You would need to purchase part # S64029 to lock the rack to the hitch and part # S64031 to lock the bikes to the rack.
