Recommended Roof Rack and Thule Cargo Box for 2010 BMW X5 with Naked Roof

Question:

We have a 2010 X5 with nothing on top to hold a cargo box. We are interested in an 18 - 22 cu ft Thule Motion roof box. Please advise which rails we should buy with the box.

Then for the roof box the Thule Motion XT # TH629806 that provides 18 cubic feet of cargo space, a sharp aerodynamic design, and a dual-side opening lid that lets you access the box from either side of your BMW will work perfectly This particular model is also available in the larger 22 cubic feet size with part # TH629906.
