Will Wiring Harness for 2018 Honda CR-V Drain Car Battery
Question:
Wiring and car battery drainage. According to the description, this wiring draws directly from the car battery. If I leave the wire installed and not drive my car hence “not charging the battery” for a few months, or connect the car with a battery tender, will this drain the battery dead? The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118741 that fits your 2018 Honda CR-V will not drain your car's battery. It will only pull power when your Honda is actually on so, meaning it will not have any affect on the battery. I have added a link to a video of this connector being installed on an '18 CR-V for you to take a look at as well.
For a trailer hitch on your 2018 Honda CR-V I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # 76128 because it is an easy, no-drill install and has the highest capacity of any hitch for your vehicle at 4,500 lbs towing and 675 lbs tongue weight.
I've added a link to video of this hitch being installed on an '18 CR-V for you to check out.
