Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Question:

I have a 2019 FORD, F250, LARIAT, 4X4 with a 6.75 bed. I will be towing a 36foot RV GWVR 16,800 lbs. What type of fifth wheel hitch should I get?

Since your truck has a short bed you will want a slider hitch to allow you to make tight turns. The Curt hitch you referenced is a slider hitch but it's not my first choice as the jaws allow a bit more movement which turns into noise.

The B and W Companion Slider hitch part # BWRVK3400-5W is considered by most RVers to be the best slider hitch you can get. This USA made hitch is very easy to use, is reliable and will last a very long time (lifetime warranty), and holds the trailer king pin tightly due to it's superior jaw design which gives you a smooth and quiet ride.

To install it you'll need the custom rail kit part # BWGNRK1116 which fits your truck frame without drilling and also doubles as a gooseneck hitch. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
