Should Trans Cooler or Suspension Enhancement be Used for Towing with 2007 Chrysler Town and Country

Since you will be pushing the towing limits of your 2007 Chrysler Town and Country it would be a good idea to use an additional transmission cooler as well as a weight distribution (WD) system to help level your entire towing setup. The WD system will actually do a better job at leveling your towing setup than suspension enhancement will.

For a transmission cooler I recommend the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13614 because it is a Class V plate-fin cooler which will give you the most efficient cooling. You just need to make sure that you have enough room to mount it under your hood. I have attached a dimensions diagram and a helpful article that you can use for the installation.

Then for a WD system I recommend using the Equal-i-zer # EQ37040ET because it comes with everything you need and is rated for up to 400 lbs of combined tongue weight (loaded tongue weight of your trailer plus the weight of cargo behind the rear axle of your Town and Country). Just be sure you have a 1-7/8" thin-walled socket like part # EQ70-00-4800 to install the hitch ball.

Please note that in the owner's manual it is recommended to utilize an electric brake controller if the trailer weighs over 1,000 lbs. If you don't already have wiring, a brake controller, or a trailer hitch then I recommend the following:
