Dimensions and Recommendations for a 5th Wheel Trailer to Gooseneck Hitch Adapter
Question:
Can you provide deminsions for the adapter? What is the radius or diamenter of smallest point and largest point? What is the total length totally extended to 16inch inches. Any other deminsions would be appreciated.

At the absolute most narrow point the adapter is about 9-1/2 inches in circumference and about 3-1/2 inches in diameter.
The overall height at 16 inches is actually about 17-1/2 inches from the bottom of the adapter to the top where it attaches to the trailer.
To find the correct height you will need, first park the truck and trailer on level ground. Make sure you have 4 inches of clearance between the top of the bed sides and the bottom of the trailer loft for pitch and roll. Then, measure from the pin plate (the bottom of the pin box) down to the top of the ball in the bed of your truck. This is the height adapter you will need.
I recommend going with the Ranch Hitch, # AM3100. It has a 24,000 pound gross trailer weight capacity, 6,000 pound pin weight capacity, and it is height adjustable from 11-3/4 to 14-3/4 inches.
