Recommended 2-Bike Rack for a 2007 Honda Pilot with Draw-Tite Trailer hitch 75599
Question:
I recently bought a hitch with you and I was very happy with the service/delivery and how easy the instalation was. Now I need the bike rack. I only have to bikes and one is a women bike so I wonder if this one will work and/or if I need to buy other accesories or pieces to safely carry both bikes around. Thanks!

I see that you purchased the # 75599 Draw-Tite trailer hitch, which has a 2 inch receiver opening. This was a great choice for carrying a bike rack, and the # TH9024XT rack you referenced would work well with it, as long as you have enough clearance.
To be certain that the Thule Apex 2-bike rack will clear the bumper on your 2007 Honda Pilot, you will want to take a quick measurement. Measure out from the center of the hitch pin hole until you have cleared the bumper. The # TH9028XT bike rack measures 11 inches from the center of its pin hole to the back of the upright bar, so as long as your measurement comes to less than 12 inches, the rack will fit. I am including a link to a video showing the rack mounted on a 2012 Acura MDX, so you can see it in action.
You may also want a few other accessories to complete your bike rack setup. To lock the rack to your vehicle and the bikes to the rack, you could use Yakima LockUp hitch and cable lock set # Y07238. Both locks in the set would use the same key, which keep things simple when you are trying to get the bikes off the rack and onto the trail.
Since you will be carrying a womens bike, you will probably also want to use a Yakima Tube Top bike adapter bar, part # Y02531. The adapter bar allows womens bikes and bikes with extremely slanted frames to sit levelly across the arms of the bike rack. I am including some links to the installation instructions for the lock set and adapter bar, as well as a video showing the adapter bar in use.
