Light On Tekonsha Voyager Goes From Orange to Red to Green with No Brakes

green light is on when brakes r applied light is erratic orange to red to orange or back to green even when manual slide is used no brakes come on

The issue you described with the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller part # 39510 could be caused by a few different things such as a bad ground on the brake controller, short on the brake output wire, defective brake magnets, or just a faulty controller. The ground issue is pretty easy to fix so I recommend you just run this wire directly to the vehicle battery.
If that does not fix your issue then I would sever the blue wire behind the controller and test for voltage while at full power with the override. If you don't get constant 12 volts then the controller is bad and will need to be replaced for which I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160. If you do get constant 12 volts then replace the brake output wire with part # 10-1-1.
