Dual Kayak Carrier for a 2015 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCrew with Tonneau Cover

Looking for options in racks for Ford F-150 FX4 supercrew with bed liner and factory installed tonneau coversoft to transport 2 10 foot kayaks. This is needed on camping trips when bead is full of gear and the trailer hitch is being used for a Thule bike rack. Would using a roof rack system do the job if so what rack and accerciors would be recommended. Is there a bed rack option available to work around d the tonneau cover rail system and Berliner. Appreciate your assistance

In order to carry two kayaks on your 2015 Ford F-150 you can do so on the roof with a roof rack or over the bed with a ladder rack. The ladder rack option will be more versatile and can hold more weight but the roof option will be more cost effective.

For a roof rack, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA165B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK427. This system has aero shaped crossbars for reduced wind noise and locks for security. In order to secure your two kayaks to this I then recommend the Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier part # TH890000 because it's easy to use and folds down while not in use for better clearance. It also comes with the tie-downs you need.

For a ladder rack, I recommend the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed part # A4001234 for 5-1/2' beds or part # A4001221 for 6-1/2' beds which will mount over the cover, in the stake pocket holes once you cut them out. The crossbars which are rated for 500 lbs have tracks so they can then be used with two sets of the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier part # TH849000.
