Where Does Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kit RP50064-58 Install in Bed of Chevy Silverado Relative to Axle
Question:
I thought the pin center to be 4inch forward of axle center on full size 8.5foot bed. Is the installed measurement different on a 6.5foot bed 1.5inch for forward

For the Reese fifth wheel rail install kit part # RP50064-58 that you referenced the kit will be centered over the rear axle if the truck has a long bed or will be 1-1/2 inch forward of the rear axle if it's a short bed.
This is mentioned in the attached install instructions link. I also attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2016 Chevy Silverado for you to check out as well.
