Brake Assemblies For Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum 8-201-9UC3-EZ
Question:
What electric brake configuration would I use with Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 12inch - 6 on 5-1/2 Item # 8-201-9UC3-EZ?

The Dexter Trailer Hub part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ works with 12" electric brake assemblies.
I recommend the etrailer.com 12" Self-Adjusting Electric Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA to go with the Dexter hubs because the etrailer brakes are cut so the edges are a bit smoother than the Dexter brakes which are snapped off of a long strip. The pads on the etrailer brakes last a bit longer because they are thicker than Dexter brake pads. The mounting bolts and hardware that you need to install is part # BRKH12.
The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum assembly part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ comes with the inner bearing part # 25580 and outer bearing part # 15123. You want to make sure the bearing numbers on your existing bearings match the bearings in the Dexter Hub.
