Will the Hands Free Lift Gate Feature on a 2019 Buick Envision Work with the Curt Hitch C13405

Looking to install a trailer hitch on my 2019 Buick Envision. Just one concern will your hitch once installed interfere with the foot activated sensor for the lift gate?

The hands free lift gate feature on your 2019 Buick Envision with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13405 installed will still work just fine but you will need to place your foot on either side of the receiver tube in order to activate this. I have attached an install photo of this trailer hitch for you so you can get a better idea of what it will look like. Please note that this is a custom fit so no drilling is required.
If you will be using this trailer hitch for a bike rack, I recommend the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR because it has a ton of great features like a tilting design that should allow for access to your rear cargo area without removing the bike rack, an anti-rattle hitch pin to help stabilize the rack, and it comes with a lifetime warranty.
