Wiring Harness Connector for 2019 Subaru XV Crosstrek

Hello Sirs, Greetings from Manila, Philippines. Interested to purchase this wiring harness connector Item # 118467. I do have a 2019 XV Crosstrek, please advise if this connector is the correct one rear driver side panel, pink tape ??? instead of blue tape. Attached photo for your quick reference. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 is the correct harness for a 2019 Subaru XV Crosstrek, and the tow plug connector is behind the driver's side trim panel. I believe you are asking about blue tape because that is what the photos in the linked instructions have, but tape color is not specified in the manual for a Crosstrek (or Forester), only an Outback. I have cut out the portion of the instructions that detail this.

From your photo, you have found the correct plug for this harness. I have also added a link to a video install of this harness in a '19 Crosstrek for you to check out.

Additionally, once you install the 4-way, I strongly recommended you use Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 on the 4-way plug to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector, which will increase its durability and extend its lifespan.
