Installing CE Smith Tail Light Protector # CE26051A on Trailer without Mounting Bracket
Question:
Will the CE Smith Trailer light protector CE 2605A1A work with the CE Smith tail light bracket CE26057AA to provide a sturdy tail light mount. I have a light that would fit in the protector, but no bracket for mounting the protector itself, if it can’t be attached to a right angle bracket. It looks like this combination could work but I cannot tell from the photos. My original tail light set up was very flimsy and met with some fatal road debris, so Im seeking a less flimsy alternative.

Using the CE Smith Tail Light Bracket # CE26057AA to mount the Tail Light Protector # CE26051A (with your light inside) to your trailer is a great setup and will indeed provide you with a secure and durable attachment. This solid connection along with the protection that the shield provides will do a really nice job of helping to keep your lights out of harm's way.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
