Class V Trailer Hitch and 7-Way Bracket for a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
Wondering if it will fit my truck? I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab 5.3 6 1/2 ft bed 4x4 and what mounting bracket do you recommend for a 7 way plug

I do have an option but the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Cast Center part # 41944 is not a fit for your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 as it is designed for 2500 and 3500 models. Instead, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15323 which has the same class V rating and 2" receiver tube opening as the above. This option however is made in the USA whereas the Draw-Tite is made in Mexico. The above Curt hitch is a bolt-on fit that does not require any drilling and you still will be able to keep your full size spare tire.
In order to mount a 7-way trailer connector to this trailer hitch you can use the Curt No-Drill Bracket part # C57202 or the Curt Easy Mount Bracket part # C58000 for a drill free option.
I have attached an install photo and video on the above trailer hitch for you as well.
