Trailer Tongue Mounted Hitch Bike Rack Compatible with Electric Jack
Question:
Hello, I like the bike rack you offer. The Jack It. I have a 26 foot Travel Trailer Keystone Passport Ultra Lite Grand Touring 2670BHWE. Would the Jack It Bike rack fit on my Tongue Jack system? And if so, how would I know if the added weight would be ok with my tongue weight max? I really hope this bike rack works for me, as I would like to buy it very soon. Thanks

Thanks for the photo of your Keystone Passport Grand Touring 2670BHWE. I can confirm based on your jack that the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack # LC429756 will work only if your jack is less than 7-3/8 inches wide at the base or the housing and it would also need to be under 22-1/2 inches from the base to the top of the housing.
If those measurements work then you will simply need to either remove the jack and fit the Jack-It frame over it or remove the motor from the shank on your jack to install on top of the base and reassemble is.
If it simply won't work, there is an alternative that is similar. I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs # CC-275.
As far as your tongue weight, you would be adding weight to the tongue of your trailer. I'd need to know your tongue weight max on your vehicle and hitch to know if that would be an issue or not but it is unlikely.
