Parts Needed to Add 7-Way Connector for Mobility Scooter Carrier on 2001 Ford Expedition
Question:
Will this fit my 2001 Expedition? If not, which one will without having to cut wires? I need to hook up a 7 pin for my mobility scooter carrier

We do have everything needed to add a 7-Way connector to your 2001 Ford Expedition, however the Curt T-Connector # C55242 that you referenced will not work. This harness is designed to plug into the factory ports on certain model Ford trucks and will not fit your Expedition.
If you don't currently have any trailer connector on your vehicle then you will need to start with a 4-Way. For this the Tekonsha T-One # 118344 will work perfectly. It is a custom harness that will plug right into factory ports behind the driver and passenger side tail lights for a no-splice installation.
With the 4-Way in place I recommend using the Wiring Kit # ETBC7L to convert it to the needed 7-Way. This will just plug into the above-mentioned 4-Way to provide you with a 7-Way at the other end. The additional black wire will need to be run up to the Expedition's battery using the included circuit breaker and ring terminals to activate the 12V circuit for your mobility scooter carrier. The white wire just needs to be attached to a clean, bare metal surface for ground and the additional blue and yellow wires can simply be tied off as they won't be needed.
I have attached a couple video demonstrations for these harnesses and the written installation manual that you can check out as well.
