Can MaxxAir Deluxe Roof Vent be Mounted on Slope

Im looking for a fan that can be mounted out of the way on a small trailer to make room for solar panels. Can this fan or others be mounted on a slope?

Yes, the MaxxAir Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-05100K that you referenced can be installed on a sloped roof (as long as it's still a straight incline/decline and not domed shape roof). This is really the case with any of the roof mounted vents we have available.

This is an excellent 12V fan that features an integrated rain shield that will let you keep it open during any weather and a flush-mounted keypad for easy operation. I have attached a short video review that you can check out along with an image a customer sent in of this particular unit on a sloped roof.

14.2-14.4 volts will not destroy the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat #MA00-05100K, however anything over 13.8v can cause the fan to shut down on the limit switch.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat item #MA00-06200K uses up to 5-Amps to operate when running and up to 9-Amps for startup. So probably between 90 - 100 hours if it was the only thing running and you left it on.

I went out to the warehouse to measure replacement crank handle #TJSC-24-HD. From the tip of the socket end to the first bend it is 13-3/4 inches. The overall length is 27-3/8 inches.

That was a problem in older versions of the MaxxFans but the current ones can handle more voltage variances without it causing any problems so you don't have anything to worry about.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat #MA00-05100K that you referenced runs on 12 volts and draws 5 amps max. If your DC outlet can handle 5 amps then this would work but it would be right at the limit.
