Is the Camco TastePure Drinking Water Freshener Safe To Drink
Question:
Have new motorhome if we put in your camco water freshener do we have to drain after filling the tank please

Expert Reply:
The Camco TastePure Drinking Water Freshener part # CAM40206 is safe to drink so no, you do not need to drain the tanks after filling and adding the water freshener according to Camco. You will first fill the tank to about 1/4th of its total volume, then add 1 oz of the Water Freshener into the tank for every 20 gallons of water.
If you are looking for a product used for flushing the system then I suggest the Camco TastePure Freshener and Dewinterizer for RV and Marine Fresh-Water System part # CAM40207 instead.
