Attaching Awning to Roof Basket Installed on 2018 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
Hello, I have a Subaru crosstrek without roof rails that has Subaru cross racks connected directly to the car. I am thinking of purchasing the Thule Canyon XT and would like to connect a small Awning to the Thule Canyon XT. If I could, do you have any suggestion on which Awning to get? If I cannot connect it, do you have any suggestions on other roof baskets that I could use to connect the Awning? Thank you,

I have a great solution that will give you both a roof cargo box and awning to fit the factory roof rack of your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek but we don't have anything that will attach to a Thule Canyon XT.
You can use the Rhino Rack Sunseeker Awning part # RR32133 but you'll have to install a Pioneer Platform tray on the bars of your vehicle. So you'll need the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform - Universal Mount - 58" Long x 47" Wide # RR42115BF to attach to your crossbars and then attach the awning to that platform.
