Tow Dolly for a 2016 Mazda 6 Touring With Unlocked Steering Wheel

Question:

I have a 2016 Mazda 6 Touring with push-button start that I want to pull behind my RV on a tow dolly. I am pretty sure the steering wheel does not lock when the car is off as I can turn the front wheels left and right with some force while sitting in m driveway. I know this impacts the tow dolly I buy and wanted your opinion on the best style/type/brand tow dolly to purchase. I will be towing it with a 2020 Renegade Verona that I have on order that has 20,000 pound towing capacity and I have optioned it with a brake controller. Thanks in advance for your help.

The best tow dolly we have for your 2016 Mazda 6 Touring is the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes part # DM9713045. The Demco Kar Kaddy SS can be used on a vehicle even if the steering wheel cannot be locked you will just need to securely tie down the front wheels in a straight ahead position.

The Kar Kaddy SS is the best all in one tow dolly we offer. It has surge disc brakes for maximum stopping power/reliability, a folding tongue for easy storage, and a wheeled jack to maneuver the dolly around while not in use. The Kar Kaddy SS is also made here in the USA and comes with a 3 year warranty. The Kar Kaddy SS is considered by most to be the best tow dolly on the market.

The Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes part # RM-2050-1 will not work for you because it will only fit wheels up to 16" diameter and your Mazda 6 has a minimum of 17" diameter wheels.
