We have exactly what you need, however the Replacement Tarp # EX6770 referenced in your question is designed to replace the vinyl for the Extang model 7770 Tonneau Cover, which is a fit for certain model years of the Dodge Ram. This replacement cover will not work on your Dodge Dakota.

If you have the Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Cover on your 2006 Dodge Dakota with the short bed (which would be model 7765) then the correct replacement tarp is part # EX6765. This is an exact replacement and you will just use your existing hardware for installation.

Thanks for the pictures but no, the EX2700 tonneau cover that the #EX1700 fits is for a 2004-15 Nissan Titan 6' 7" Bed. The one previously mentioned #EX1770 is for your truck, so it'd for sure work if you have the 2770 tonneau cover.
