The panel under the driver dash of your 2018 Jeep Cherokee that will need to be removed in order to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 is held in with a single screw. Once you remove this screw, the panel can then come off and expose the brake controller port that you will need for the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # 3014-P. I have attached a photo of this for you that I took myself on a coworker's vehicle.
