Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2017 Ford F-150 4x4 to Reduce Sag When Towing Trailer

Question:

2017 Ford F150 4x4 with 5.0 liter sags when pulling 5 th wheel travel trailer Im looking for a product that I can install on my truck that greatly reduces the 3.5 in sag in the rear when under load. My suspension is stock. My wheel well outer fender currently sits at 40 in without any load and I really dont want any system to raise that if possible since it is currently level with front end. What system would work best for me?

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-117-47 are an easy installation that will be maintenance free and will help support and level the load when towing. These progressive springs help absorb bumps and shock and compress by as much as 80 percent for support. These are an excellent choice for simple installation and zero follow up. They will adjust as needed based on the weight in the bed of your truck and work independently to also help reduce body roll.

If you want the ability to control your leveling more, then air springs are the route to go. For your truck with in bed hitch, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57385 which are a custom fit. These springs will provide more load support and will give you the ability to customize your ride height. They don't increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity, but are designed for leveling the rear height of your truck. The kit comes with the manual valves so you can use an air compressor to set your ride height.

If you want the ability to adjust your ride at anytime, I suggest adding a compressor system to your truck. My recommendation is the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote # AL25980 which will give you the ability to monitor your air pressure and change it from the comfort of your cab or even outside your vehicle for a visual.
