Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System Compatible with Loaded Trailer 4,200 to 4,700 lbs
Question:
My trailer dry is 3700lbs. Loaded between 4200-4700 depending on water. Assuming combined tongue weight of 600 lbs payload and trailer tongue would this distribution hitch be too much? EQ37100ET 1000tw 10000lbs Would this wd hitch be too much for my trailer

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET is rated for total tongue weights between 600 lbs and 1,000 lbs. That total tongue weight includes the loaded trailer tongue weight and any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Based on the loaded weights you gave and most trailers having a tongue weight between 10-15 percent of the loaded trailer that would put you in the correct range.
This system comes with the hitch ball needed but you will need a thin walled socket to install it like the # ALL643216 or # EQ70-00-4800.
