EcoHitch Fits for 2019 Subaru Forester
Question:
so I currently have the x-7662 hitch and I traded in my outback for a 2019 model. I would like to know whats the difference between the x-7601 and the x-7662 since the body frame of the Subaru outback did not change. Thank you in advance.

Between 2018 and 2019 there was a big enough difference in the vehicles the hitch manufacturers had to come up with all new fits. While the hitch fits for the two year ranges seem very similar there are small dimension changes that had to be made to allow the hitch to fit the best possible.
The EcoHitch need for the 2019 Forester is the part # 306-X7391. If instead you have an Outback you'd want the part # 306-X7601.
