How to Determine if 7 or 16 Weld-On Trailer Hitch Brackets Will Fit 2006 Ford E-350 Service Body

...the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body van like your 2006 Ford E-350 are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916. How did I decide which brackets 7 or 16.

When installing the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Cross Tube # 41990 on your 2006 Ford E-350 with the service body it is really just a matter of determining what will fit and if both do which one will fit better.

I have attached photos with dimensions for both the 7" # 4907 and 16" # 4916 weld-on brackets that you can check out. You can use these to compare them with your vehicle and determine which brackets are better for your application.
