Distance for Different Alarm Settings of Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA
Question:
It states that there are three distinct alarms. Can you give the approximate distance for each alarm? Ex. 5’, 3’, 1’ Thanks!

Backup sensor system # HM60100VA will start too beep as objects become 5-1/2 feet away from the sensor. This varies slightly in application as the differing vehicle heights will make this somewhat less precise. but basically your best option is to check out the 4:23 mark of the review video I attached an you'll get a better idea how the sensor changes.
This unit features three alarm zones, so as the vehicle comes closer to the object, the beep from the unit will become more and more frequent, but the sound of the beep itself will not change.
