How Does Brake Controller Typically Draw Power for Trailers Brakes

Trailer brakesUnderneath the hood where does the power come from the trailer brakes to the control panel all the trolley break we have replaced the module by the rear axle on this truck

Brake controllers like the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 that you referenced will draw power for the trailer brakes from the battery of the vehicle they are installed in either by directly wiring to the battery or through factory wiring that goes to a fuse box first and then eventually to the battery. I attached a picture that shows how a brake controller normally wires up as well.
