Tire Chain Recommendation for 2019 RAV4 Adventure with Tire Size 235/55-19 With Limited Clearance

I have 2019 RAV4 Adventure AWD with 235/55 R19 101V tires. The manual recommends not using chains on these tires. California, Colorado, and other states may require having chains depending on conditions. What do you recommend to me state requirements?

The best solution is to contact a Toyota dealer in an area near mountains and ask them what they recommend people do. On one hand you don't want to void the warranty of the vehicle, and on the other you want to be able to be compliant with snow chain laws as well as not get stranded. Normally dealers in mountain areas will have a suitable compromise. We do have a great solution that would be the best possible option for your tire size of 235/55-19 with limited wheel clearances.
For that the Konig Tire Chains part # TH02230K66 is the best solution. Unlike most tire chains this does not go over the inside shoulder of the tire so you'd have minimal clearance issues. This is the ultimate solution for needing tire chains on a vehicle with not much clearance. If you show a picture of these installed to a dealer like mentioned most likely they'll agree it's an ideal solution.
