Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2011 Lexus RX350 w/out Tow Package
Question:
I did not order a towing package with my new 2011 Lexus 350. Since purchasing my vehicle I have installed a Curt #13541 - Class III Receiver Hitch. What wiring harness should I purchase and install to complete the electrical portion of my towing setup? Thanks!

On your 2011 Lexus RX350 without a tow package, the wiring harness you will need is the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118478. This harness will plug into connection points located behind the RX350 tail lights. It uses a powered Modulite converter that will draw power directly directly from the vehicles battery via an in-line fuse so your electrical system is safe.

In addition to the wiring harness, other parts you will need for towing is the Curt Ball Mount, part # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip # PC3, and either the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247, or the Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19260.
