The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550037 has a shipping weight of just over 330 lbs though the head unit and base install separately. Still, it's a two-person job to remove it from the bed of your 2016 Ram 3500, even in a couple of pieces.

Most fifth wheel hitches are going to be cumbersome, at the least, to regularly take in and out of the bed of your truck and the advantages of the Hijacker far outweigh its disadvantages. For starters, when you do take it out it will leave the bed of your '16 Ram 3500 clean because it installs with the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DM8551006.

More than anything, using the Demco Hijacker Autoslide means you will never again need to get out of your truck just to make a turn. It's one of those things that once you use it you'll never want to have to use a sliding fifth wheel ever again.

The sliding feature is the most notable aspect of the Hijacker, but there is more to it than that - put simply, this is just a really good hitch. The single-piece jaw on the Hijacker provides an outstanding connection with your king pin because it wraps around it completely, and the jaw-to-king pin connection is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed. The Hijacker also utilizes cushioned dampeners which minimize the rattling noise often associated with fifth wheel towing.

The Hijackers that fit the # DM8551006 rails are available with an 18,000 lb capacity # DM8550022 or 21,000 lb capacity # DM8550037, give you 14 inches of front-to-back travel, have three different height settings (15-1/2", 16-3/4", and 18-1/4") and are made in the USA.

I've added links to some video reviews for you to check out as well.
