Recommended Custom Fit 5th Wheel Rail Kit and Air Bags for 1999 Ford F-250 Short Bed

I have a 1999 f250 super duty with a short bed. I believe the 50082-58 kit is the correct kit for my truck. I was wondering what air bag, if any would be compatible. Thank you

For your 1999 Ford F-250 short bed, the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50082-58 are the correct fit. Then for air springs compatible with the in bed hitch I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2550. This kit will work very well for you and will come with manual inflation valves.
If you want to add a compressor for ease of use and adjustment at any time I recommend the Firestone Air Command I - Analog Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function - 130 psi # F2158 or the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote - Single Path # AL25980 which won't require running anything into the cab.
