Can Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-6 be Used with Tow Dolly
Question:
Roadmaster told me that this part is suitable for tow dolly use with less than 400 lb tongue weight. They only prohibit its use with any type of weight distribution system. Is there a reason why the etrailer.com site warns against use with a tow dolly?

At one point Roadmaster would only recommend the use of the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-6 with flat towing setups but they recently changed that stance and now allow the hitch adapter to be used with a tow dolly like they told you.
