Availability of Roof Rack for 2019 Honda Odyssey with Naked Roof

I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey with no raised rails naked roof. I want to add a Yakima Skybox 21. Can I install just the cross bars with out the raised rails? If so, what do u recommend?

I checked with all our roof rack manufacturers and it looks like the only current option for your 2019 Honda Odyssey that features a completely naked roof is with the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. All of the other systems available for your vehicle use mounting feet that need to attach to raised side rails and won't work on a naked roof.

The SeaSucker Monkey Bars is a really unique system that uses vacuum cups that attach to the vehicle's roof to provide a base for the included round crossbars. I actually really like these racks because they allow for an extremely simple installation and removal and give you the versatility of positioning the bars anywhere on the roof (as long as you maintain a compatible crossbar spread with your roof box or other accessories).

The rack features a 150 pound weight capacity and the entire system itself only weighs 12 pounds total. I have attached a couple short video demonstrations so you can get a closer look at how it mounts and performs on the road.

The Yakima SkyBox 21 Cargo Box # Y07337 that you referenced will work great with these crossbars to provide you with 21 cubic feet of storage space. I have included a video review on this box that you can check out as well.
