I want to know How much does the bike rack weigh? If its too heavy, my wife wont fool with trying to get it into the hitch.

The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style part # S64650 only weighs around 25 lbs fully assembled so your wife should have no issues at all getting it into the trailer hitch receiver tube.
The nice thing about the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style is that you can add locks to both the rack and bikes with the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks part # S64031. I have attached a review video of each option for you as well.
