Will Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller Work When Getting a Call
Question:
Getting a call while using product - Since the associated App needs to be opened when using the trailer break. Are there any issues when switching apps to say a maps program, music or receiving a call? Thanks

You can receive a call or open another app on your phone and the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 and it will still work.
When you get a call the Echo app will still be open in the background and if you want to open up another app just keep the Echo app open in the background - simply minimize it - and you will retain the complete functionality of the brake controller.
It should be noted that even if you lose connectivity between the Echo # C51180 and the app for some reason you won't lose your trailer brakes. The controller will still work at the most recently programmed settings, you would just lose the ability to manually activate the controller and receive notifications but your brakes will continue being effective.
I have added a link to the instructions of the Echo for you to check out as well as links to a couple video reviews for you to take a look at.
