7-Way Upgrade Kit Recommendation for Trailer with 4-Way to Charge Trailer Battery

I recently installed the T-One vehicle wiring harness 7 pin on my 2016 Honda Pilot. My trailer is a 4 pole flat connector. Will this be able to charge my trailer battery? If not, what do you recommend?

A 4-way trailer wiring harness would not be able to charge a trailer battery as that circuit is not available through 4-way wiring. Easiest solution is going to be to install the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Kit part # HS381-9000 to convert the trailer's 4-way to a 7-way and run the extra charge wire. You'd need to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) to the positive post of the battery you want to charge and then to the corresponding 12 volt charge wire of the junction box.
