Out of the Draw-Tite # 75087 and Curt # 13018 Class III trailer hitches with 2" receivers I recommend going with the Draw-Tite for your 2002 Mercedes-Benz ML320. This is strictly because the Draw-Tite has a higher weight capacity meaning it is more durable.
According to the online version of the owner's manual for your ML320 your vehicle can tow up to a 5,000 lb trailer. Since the Curt is only rated for 3,500 lbs this gives you all the more reason to go with the Draw-Tite.
You will also need a wiring kit for the lights on your trailer. I recommend using the # C59236 because it features a ModuLite that protects the wiring on your vehicle.
To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount. I have attached a link to our selection of ball mounts as well as a helpful article to help you determine the best option for your application.
