Installation and Operation Instructions for Jensen JWM70A AM/FM - CD/DVD - USB Stereo

Question:

I have been an etrailer.com customer for several years. To replace my current IRV66 unit with this unit would require significant alterations to my travel trailer cabinet. Id like to know if the Jensen JWM70As that you sell come in factory packaging? Do they include an owners manual in the box? If they do, it might persuade me to take a chance and buy one of these units from etrailer. Etrailer.coms price is much higher than the same units available on Amazon.com, about $100, but personal experience and the limited reviews available on Amazon.com indicate that people selling these units on Amazon are selling returns and rejects, as they are coming in plain cardboard boxes, some which do not include the wiring harness, remote, manual, etc. It would also do much to quiet my fears about this unit if you had reviews from previous customers. The few reviews on this unit that Ive been able to find online indicate that a significant number of purchasers mostly on Amazon have had significant problems. Most everything I have ever bought from etrailer.com has had a video in the web page. This one does not, but I thank you guys for the many still photos you included instead!!

All of our RV stereo products, such as the Jensen AM/FM - CD/DVD - USB - Auxiliary - Bluetooth unit # JWM70A are brand new and unused. The units we ship include the manufacturer's written documentation. I personally checked our warehouse stock and it is of course brand new and complete with all documentation.

As with most such products the wiring schematic is applied right to the unit's case to simplify making the various power and speaker connections. Please refer to the photo to see this. The instructions included are going to help you with actual operation of the many built-in features which include Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to connect external sources like iPods and iPhones.

If you've not already removed your old stereo I recommend that before you disconnect anything at the back of the unit you label all of the wires. This will make it easier to make the connections on the Jensen. Butt connectors like # DW05744-10 for 16-14 gauge wires and # DW05745-10 for 12-10 gauge wires will enable solid connections. A crimping tool like the one in Hopkins Deluxe Wiring Kit # HM51020 will work with the butt connectors.
