Can Tekonsha T-One 118265 be Used on 2014 Honda Pilot with Adapter for 5-Way on Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 2014 Honda Pilot that I installed a 4-way wiring harness probably part#118558 with a 5-way adapter to activate the back up disconnect on my boat trailer brakes. Now, I want to upgrade to a 7-way #118265 so I can also tow a small camping trailer that has electric brakes. Will the 7-way still have the ability to deactivate the boat brakes when backing up? I have the adapter that converts the 7- way to 4 or 5-way just want to make sure everything is legit. Thanks.

Yes, you can replace the T-One # 118558 with the T-One # 118265 on your 2014 Honda Pilot and then use an adapter like the Tow Ready # C35FR or the Hopkins # HM47570 so that you can still activate the reverse light circuit while towing your boat trailer.
