According to my research the 1984 Aluma-Lite travel trailers had hydraulic drum brakes. You can use the Titan Hydraulic Brake Kit - Free Backing - Galphorite - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 6K # T4489600-500 like the # T4489500 you asked from as a replacement option. You will need look at the mounting flange for your brake assemblies to confirm this fit as I don't have that specific information available. If you have 5 bolts this is the correct size, but if you have 4 let me know as these will be too large.

If you'd like to change to electric brakes, you can use the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA along with # 10-1-1 wire and then use the etrailer # HS381-9000 for the rest of the wiring and connection to your tow vehicle. If you use ring terminals # 44-5310A it will be a nice clean connection. Then you can use heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 for the brake magnet connection.
