To install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller # TK90160 on your 2005 Lexus GX 470 with the factory 7-Way connector all you need is the Plug-In Adapter # 3040-P. One end of the adapter will plug into the brake controller itself and the other end will connect to the factory port behind the dash of your Lexus for a completely plug-and-play installation.
The Primus IQ is a really nice controller that features 3 boost levels to let you adjust the initial braking power, an easy-to-read LED display, and an integrated accelerometer that will automatically power the trailer's brakes at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to them in your Lexus.
I have attached a short video review and the written manual that you can check out as well.
