Will 21K Demco Hijacker Autoslider Fit a 2007 Chevy Silverado with a Short Bed

Is there an adapter available to install this hitch on a 2007 Chevy Silverado short bed truck?

We do have ways to for you to use a 21K Demco Hijacker Autoslider in your 2007 Chevy Silverado but since the part # DM8550038 comes with specific mounting gear designed to install in a Ford Super Duty factory puck system you will need to use a different part.

The Demco Hijacker part # DM8550035 is what you would need instead as it comes with the mounting configuration that is compatible with industry standard bed rails. If you happen to already have the part # DM8550038 (for Ford pucks) in your possession then you can replace the side plates with part # DM6003 so that it is compatible with industry standard bed rails.

If you do not already have industry standard rails in the bed of your pickup just let me know if you have the Classic or New Body, what model your Silverado is (1500, 2500, 3500), and what exact bed length you have and I can make a recommendation for you.

You may also be interested in the Curt Harness # C56000 which allows you to install a 7-Way in the bed of your Silverado for easier hookup of the 7-Way on your 5th wheel trailer.
