Custom Tuner for 2007 F-150 4.6L with Long Tube Headers
Question:
Hello, I’ve close to installing some long tube headers on my 07 F-150 4.6 and have seen a statement mentioned in blogs about a tune needed after install. What kind of tune is required and if you have any suggestions they would greatly be appreciated. I like to have everything needed before I tackle a project. Thanks so much.

From my research you're going to need a tuner that allows you to add custom tunes to your truck to get the performance you want after installing the long tube headers. Then contact a performance shop to have the custom tune installed. We don't actually work with custom tunes so I really don't have any insight on the install itself.
The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Pro, part # SU1545, is the custom tuner we carry that works with your 2007 Ford F-150 4.6L.
