Ignition Override Feature Not Working On Coach Single Step

Question:

My single Coach Step work fine except the ignition over ride feature. At the 4 wire connector I measure 13 volt plus on the yellow wire with ignition on. Zero with ignition off. With the step extended, at the 2 wire connector I get zero voltage with ignition on or off! Does this mean the control module is faulty or is there some other possibility. Thank you!

If you have 13 volts on the yellow wire when the ignition is running and your ignition override feature is not working then the issue is going to be a faulty control module. I called my contact at Lippert to confirm and they as well indicated a faulty control module. The correct replacement control module for your Coach Single Step is the Replacement Control Module for Lippert Electric Coach Step part # LC301702.

I have attached the troubleshooting flowchart for you as well but you will need to replace the control module in order to get back the ignition override.
