Recommended Tire Chains for 2018 Subaru Forester XT with Tire Size 225/55R18
Question:
I know tire chains cannot be used per the owners manual but the manual does say spring chains may be acceptable if use on your vehicle is recommended by the device manufacturer, taking into account tire size and road conditions. My tire size is P225/55R18. Based on this can you recommend something for me? Thank you

The best tire chain solution we have for your 2018 Subaru Forester XT with tire size 225/55-18 is the Konig K-Summit part # TH02230K45. These chains offer the best possible clearance of any snow traction device as they do not drape over the inside of the tire sidewall at all. Check out the picture I attached to see what I mean and also check out the review video I attached that shows how easily they install as well.
Unlike other chain options these also would not risk damage to your wheels either since they won't touch them at all.
