Which is Better The Roadmaster Trailer Shock Kit or the Lippert Kit and Why
Question:
I have looked at both the Roadmaster and LIppert systems . It seem to me that the angle at the top next to the frame on the Roadmaster would put a lot of strain on the upper bushing thus wearing it out over time. The Lippert system seems to have a move direct fit to avoid this. However the Lippert system seem to have a bad angle for the shock to really do any good. could you please comment. I would like to get one of these systems but need to know which is the better one. thanks

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride System part # RM-2450 will give you a smoother ride than the Lippert system part # LC281255 that you also mentioned. Our customers prefer the Roadmaster over the Lippert also because of the ease of install too. Some people who have tried the Lippert kit had to get more creative with the mounts whereas the Roadmaster is a more straightforward install. Both of these kits are for 3,500 lb axles.
The more vertical angle of the Roadmaster shocks allows them to function better compared to the more horizontal angle of the Lippert kit.
