Recommended Flat Towing System for 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4x4
Question:
Are all 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawks flat towable with 4x4

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk models are all flat towable. They all include the 4x4 with 2 speed transfer case required to have the neutral for flat towing safely.
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521451-5 is what I recommend starting with and then the using the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. This is a very reliable system that will work very well for you. Then you will need safety cables like # RM-643. You may also be interested in tow bar cover # RM-055-3 for storage on the back of your motorhome.
Then for your tow bar wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Diode Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This kit will let you use your factory wiring and yet protect it from overload giving you a really clean look and function. I also recommend using the charge line # RM-156-25 to maintain your Jeep battery while towing it. I've attached a video of this installation to assist.
For your supplemental braking system I highly recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. This is a customer favorite because it is a system that will activate your Jeep brakes at the same time and with the same pressure as you hit the brake pedal in your motorhome. This system only needs adjustment at installation and then becomes a plug and play system that changes from tow mode to drive mode with literally a flip of a switch.
Finally you will need a high-low adapter to get you at a safe towing height. I've attached an article to help you determine measurements and have linked the page to your options.
