Roof Rack for 2017 Mercedes E400 Wagon to Carry 2 Pedego Bikes
Question:
I am considering buying two Pedego eBikes and I dont have a trailer hitch. I prefer not to have one installed an carry them on the roof instead. My car has the equipment to install load bars and then a bike rack, but I am not sure there are any roof racks that will allow bikes of 50lbs to be carried on the roof. Do you have any suggestions?

We have roof racks that fit your 2017 Mercedes Benz E400 that have the capacity you'd want but you should consider that you'll have to lift those heavy bikes up on to the roof of your vehicle. So for that you'd want the # 298-SX6000B which has a 150 lb weight capacity.
Then for a roof bike rack with a 50 lb capacity we have the Inno part # INA389 which would work great too. It holds the bikes at the wheels which means you can leave the front wheel installed.
